We dealt with a stressful situation when we were informed by the funeral home that my mother's cremation was not going to take place in time for the planned memorial. This was handled and the memorial went on as planned but intervention was required. Also, additional keepsake items purchased in the package were not ordered until 2 months after the memorial. We initially informed they were ordered and given a 6 week lead time but learned they were not ordered when we called to check on status 2 months later. The funeral director blamed the family for his mistake in not placing the order.
